I had so many trees that needed to be removed off my property in which most were over 30 feet high! Christian and his team came by and took care of it. The service was very professional as he was respectful with my property and cleaned up everything. Also I have to mention, he pulled every single tree stump/root from the ground as I'm still in shock with how deep those roots really spread into the ground. I had Gunz Services out today to take down 3 dead trees, One of the trees was a red oak with a 49” diameter trunk and about 90 feet tall. What I can say is I will not use any tress service other than Gunz Services in the future. Chris and his crew did a really outstanding job. Not only did they do all the work that was part of the contract but also went above and beyond, cleaning up some old brush in my wooded area and cutting down some small trees that were dead even though they were not included in the contract. The hired gunz team came out and helped me resolve a long going issue I’ve been having with my patio which slopes back into the house. They removed the patio fast and then backfilled it with dirt so the water would no longer be settling against the house. They did all this on time and were the best price I received. I had three huge trees (one over 150' tall with a 35" dia) too close to a garage addition that we just completed. Those trees needed precision felling to avoid hitting the building or entanglement with other trees. I heard of Christian and his work through my son who, in turn, contacted him for an estimate. Christian swung by a day or so later, saw what needed to be done and explained his recommended approach. While on-site, Christian educated me regarding a blight affecting oak trees in the area, showed me examples of it on two of my trees. I thought his quote was reasonable for the nature of the work and he was on the job three days later. Christian and his team worked well together. Had a GIANT dead Oak fall from another individual's yard, fall across my neighbor's yard (and destroy his fence) and get hung up on a tree in my yard about 200ft or more up. If it moved an inch in either direction it would have destroyed my home. This was an emergency on a Saturday late night. They texted me back within an hour. They came out on a Sunday when NO ONE else would or could realizing I was in an unsafe situation. By Monday morning they were safely getting this tree down and cut up. They were priced 2k less than anyone else. (I had online quotes but everyone was "booked") They were also VERY educated about the trees, knowing what each was, how strong they were, types of diseases, and even what created the situation. They're respectful, honest, and on time. They communicated each step of their process. They answered ALL of my questions (and ive got twice as many as most). They didn't rush and weren't pushy. I’m going to recommend hired gunz not because they were awesome and responsive, I’m going to recommend them based on Christian’s knowledge and love of trees. I asked him to come out and look at a tree that I thought was bad. He quickly identified that the tree was fine and healthy but then identified some trees that looked healthy but said they weren’t from 30 feet away. He then walked me through what he saw and proved they were bad by pulling out his screw driver and showing me. He poked into the knots of two birch trees and pulled out the rotten cores of each. They were both Close enough to hit the house. Then he walked over to two oak trees, and pointed out several spots on the tree that had black small holes. He tapped on the tree an ants came out and he pulled on the bark and it crumbled. Anybody can cut down a tree, but I’m recommending hired gunz for their knowledge and passion. They know what they’re looking at and can explain it to a homeowner. The quote was reasonable, and they were responsive and accommodating. I want to commend the excellence and professionalism of Hired Gunz as a company and to include the workers that performed the tree cutting as well. It started with me having the need for a few large trees removed from the backyard that was too close to my barn. I had never needed such a service in the past and had no idea where to turn. So, I did what most of us would have done and did a Google search. Several companies appeared with various positive and negative reviews. To be quite honest, the search got a little overwhelming. However, I did call one company and was not impressed at all. To contribute to the overwhelming experience, the company’s no-show on the scheduled date to give an estimate and the BS excuse for their absence. One day I happened to check the mail and found a flyer from Hired Gunz advertising their services. I went to the company’s website and reviewed the numerous positive reviews. I was very impressed and decided to give them a call. Chrisitan, the owner of the company, showed up when scheduled and was very professional. He took the time to explain everything in elementary terms to where I could fully understand what to expect. After giving an estimate with a very responsible price, I decided to go with them, and I couldn’t be happier. They showed up on time and took all the precautions as to not leave any yard damage with their heavy trucks.
